Alas, I do not have one, but Harry Kane I see was sporting one when he turned up for England's Iran match in Doha the other day. Whether or not it was an excuse to show off a bit of 'rainbow' remains to be seen, but I was quite surprised by the value of them now.

Looks like you aren't getting one for less than about US$550,000. Some investment if you were fortunate enough to be able to buy one new!

Looks like the sort of thing you see gathering dust in an Istanbul market stall.

Crazy and wouldn't be for my taste even if I could afford it, i'm sure a couple of weeks of Harry Kane's wages will cover it though

Maybe a loaner from Rolex for some publicity?

This.

I’ve seen 2 “in the wild” on peoples wrists and assumed both were fake (full rainbow and pave bracelets). That’s insane pricing.

My Mrs puts up with my watch hobby, so she puts up with a lot of stuff I show her from the Internet.

She doesn't go googoo or gaga at any watch I've shown her until the Rainbow Daytona a few years back.

All I can say, she definitely has expensive tastes! Now how much is my kidney worth on the black market.... ?

That's a hideous thing, worn by flash gits with zero taste.

Have to agree that any bloke wearing one of these is nothing more than flexing. On a woman, I think it's a nice piece of jewellery.

I feel you may have missed the reason Kane was wearing it.

Most Rolexes look better and classier than many G-Shocks, some might say! wink

Better and classier … crass and tasteless objects of (questionable) desire I would say

Not at all lost on me. In any normal situation, any straight guy who wears one of these is nothing more than flexing. The watch is just too feminine.

However, the question does arise, where did he manage to get a watch that is rarer than rocking horse poo at such short notice...

He’s the England captain - he can have whatever he wants, at the time of his chosing.

John Mayer owns every iteration of these including I think the first ever? Which is possibly a 1 of 1 watch. I think he pulls off this watch. Almost nobody else could though.

Kane is on £10m a year in wages alone. I’m sure a watch isn’t going to be of any issue. Grey market or otherwise.

Turns out loads of football players have them.

I’d wear one. The rainbow gem setting looks great I think. Not fussed about gem set lugs and bracelets though.

Truly truly gopping. Like something you'd see balancing on the edge of a seaside coin pusher arcade machine..
