Worked as a store manager for an AD before going back to my own business.

Met lots of interesting people and witnessed some of the most "unusual practices" you can imagine.

thought it might be interesting to share some information and dispell some myths along the way

Ask me anything

Out of the following, which of these Sea Dwellers would you recommend for a newbie Rolex buyer:

2021 private seller on eBay (hence will be authenticated by eBay), worn twice with original receipt apparently
2022 dealer on Chrono24, unworn apparently (no authentication but I'd pay with credit card for S75 protection)

Both have box and papers - the 2022 is +£400.

Thanks!

Is a Rolex really worth the money?
I know some increase in value.
Are they more reliable than say a Tag Heuer or omega etc?

How much do you have to spend to buy a steel Daytona? How many did you get a year? How long would you have to wait?

When I bought my steel Submariner date in 2018 having walked into the AD for the first time, I felt like I was being interviewed, was I? Was getting the call to collect the next month fortunate?

Would you ever spend your own money on a Rolex if you had to pay full price

Do we have to buy a low end one to "build a relationship" before you answer any questions?

What’s your success rate in steering disappointed prospective Rolex buyers to other brands, available straight away and in stock?
