Rolex Milgauss values

Hi all - I'm considering a Milgauss, the one with the green tinged glass, and was just after people opinions of values (both current and future) along with desirability of this particular model as it's reasonably cheap compared to other models.
I've seen 2 so far, both boxed with all papers and in VGC - one is a 2009 in Mint condition and can be found here for £7.8k before any negotiation - https://ebay.us/m/AC07Zu

The other at a jewellers in London, 2008 model in just as good condition but this time it's 12k.
How are these valued to have such a large spread? Is there any difference in year?
Also, what are people thoughts on future values of these - are they likely to go down, stay static or rise?

Milgauss is a nice watch.

My opinion is that the asking price largely depends on who is selling it...

Prices are on the way down for almost all used Rolex (and others brands) at the moment. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than £5k for a Milgauss, and I would be happy to wait 6-12 months for the used values to fall to that level.

They were £8-9K I think when discontinued. I'm not sure it's worth paying anything near that for an older one.

I haven t checked either of those but - private sales will be cheaper, if it s a b&m store on eBay it might be worth contacting them directly (I have done that twice with success), a recent service adds value (not as much as the cost of the service, though).

I d keep an eye on Watchcollecting. A 2022 sold in March for 8k plus fees.

Also, there are still tons of Rolex (and other brand) watches for sale that were clearly bought before the price crash that started in 2022. So advertised prices are truly all over the place.

Bought one last year same spec for my 50th - lovely watch, got a very nice weight to it - and as an engineer, the technical side of it appealed to me.

They've been hovering around the £9-11K used for the past 4 years (how long I was pondering it).

I decided to buy a Milgauss GV in 2018 but no retailers anywhere near me had stock, so I ended up buying an immaculate one 2nd hand off eBay from a reputable company in October 18.

After a bit of a haggle I paid £4650, which I’m still happy with, although I doubt I’d pay 8/9 grand for one today.
