Time and Tide London

I found it incredibly hard to actually find. It’s on the first floor of a shared office block and the only sign is on the door buzzer. No appointment necessary although always best to check what day you intend to go as they sometime have private/invite only events on so are not open to the public that day.
It is a bit of a weird set up but the space itself is nice once you get up there and the staff were very helpful and let you try anything on.
I went during a weekday afternoon and there was a lot of people coming in and out for the 20 minutes I was there so it’s certainly popular.
I believe they also have a Tudor pop-up in there at the moment too if that helps.

What are you meant to say at the buzzer? "Hello, I'm Sporky, you don't know me but I think you have watches and I like watches and maybe I'd like to buy one but I don't know yet. Am I allowed in?".
Still better than WoS who employ someone to glare at you if you approach the door, I s'pose.

Thanks - that's quite reassuring. I may have a tendency to overthink things.
Next up; what watch do I wear so that they won't judge me unworthy? (it's OK, you don't have to answer that, you've all indulged me most generously already).
I can see that by the second half of your post! Next up; what watch do I wear so that they won't judge me unworthy? (it's OK, you don't have to answer that, you've all indulged me most generously already).
Just wear some clothes.

It’s not a stuck up authorised dealer, it’s a relaxed ‘clubhouse’ space without any of that rubbish - I think that was one of the major aims of the place.

It’s not that type of place at all. I mentioned the access thing because it is a bit weird when you’re stood there but once you’re inside they are all nice people in my experience who are enthusiastic about what they do. I was brave enough, and they were very nice to me, and I am now poor. Update in that to follow.
Well worth a visit, lovely atmosphere and a huge selection of lovely things, a lot of which I don't think you can easily see in person elsewhere.
That’s great! Good for you. I can imagine from your posts that stood there looking at the building you were seriously questioning if you should bother. Well worth a visit, lovely atmosphere and a huge selection of lovely things, a lot of which I don't think you can easily see in person elsewhere.
I can imagine that happening too, but I'd been to Subdial first and had a Brave on. Usually if I make it to the door it's on, but quite often I finish my meeting and just go home as fast as possible.
The T&T highlights (excluding the incoming for now) for me:
Christopher Ward The Twelve - lovely dial, better in person than in macro shots. I wasn't sold on the hands and markers though, they were a bit too prominent for me. Also saw the diver with the lume block hands: that's a lot less chunky in person, I rather liked it.
Straum Jan Rayen - incredible dual on the Aurora in particular, but the steel is pretty hefty, and the titanium ones had much more subdued dials.
Some of the Baltics were pretty nice - the silver Bicompax in particular, just not what I was looking for. Same for Fears - in person they look worth every penny.
The big surprise for me were the Beaucrofts, which looked like you could add a 1 at the front of the price.

I've looked at those online and nearly bought a teal dial one, as it looked really nice and good value. The big surprise for me were the Beaucrofts, which looked like you could add a 1 at the front of the price.
Must stop myself from jumping on the tube in the week...

I'm with you on the Twelve. I really liked the 38mm one but I dunno something holds me back. The T&T highlights (excluding the incoming for now) for me:
