In 2005 I purchased a 2nd hand watch from Tourneau in Las Vegas. In the past 21 years I’ve worn it probably less than 40 times. I enquired about getting it serviced by the authorised Oris repairer in Bolton. The watch in question is the 7523-44 stainless steel version. This has a rubber bezel protecting the watch face. Service dept quoted £410 for the service and £310 plus vat for the bezel! Which seems a bit strong considering I only paid the equivalent of £550 for the watch all those years ago! Any suggestions from the PH watch experts?

There are other places that service Oris, try one of them.

Joe at Anglesey Watch & Clock did mine. Omega, Rolex and Heuer too. Extremely modestly priced.

If you’re in the north west, then Prime Time Watches between Wigan & Ormskirk will service all sorts of brands.

They recently did my Oris John Coltrane and my Dad’s 45+ year old Tissot Seastar. Did an excellent job on both watches.

Based on those two recent experiences, I’d recommend.
