As somebody who has become a watch fan over the last few years and now probably considered a "collector" I've often thought about "having a go" under guidance so this kind of thing interests me.

It's significantly cheaper and easier to do this with Seiko parts and a few youtube videos.

The chances of 'import taxes etc' making both figures exactly the same does seem rather unlikely though (but easier to do the accounts!)
