As above, I have a daily wearer but I would like a dressy/smrted watch for occasions/evenings etc. and Nothing over 40mm, steel/gold/two tone all acceptable but not to garish.
I was looking at Rolexs from the 60's/70's, any other ideas? Pics if possible please gents.

Not a dress watch, but I liked it; a 1904 Omega skeleton.

having looked at the Sin for ages now I have decided that while I would love it as a aily wear, I would like a dress watch to stand out a bit more, while still maintaining the subtley the Sinn has.
Does that make sense?

take a look at www.christopherward.co.uk

They do a lot of great watches in your price range, automatics, swiss built with Swiss movements.

The malvern, The malvern Aviator, or the Henly would all suit your needs.

I've got an Ebel classic wave steel / gold which I've been meaning to advertise for some time, might fit the bill.

What about a Stowa MO - might just scrape in under 500, though mine sold for 550, in less than 10 minutes ...
