Decisions decisions...I have to make a choice and I am so so confused.

Following on from my earlier threads I have narrowed it down to the following. I like all of them but cannot make up my mind between them.

Please tell me which one you would choose and why?

IWC Portugeuse Automatic

JLC Master Compressor Chronograph

JLC Master Eight Days

JLC Master Hometime

JLC Master Reserve de Marche - I have heard this may be discontinued?

JLC Master World Geographic

Master Compressor, I have the JLC app on my ipod, and I've done the whole 'Choose one, only one' game a million times waiting for the train.

There's one in the window at a dealer near mine, It draws you away from the Rolexi and PAM efforts.

A nice decision to have to make !

JLC 8 days, just from looks and an irrational fear of dialed dates as opposed to figures.

Either the IWC or the World Geographic. But if you're looking at the JLC you might consider taking a look at the Vacheron Overseas Dual Time?

IWC for me, as it still looks like a 'proper' watch.

JLC Master Compressor Chronograph. Tough choice that was, but i think this watch wins for me - like the sporty look combined with the Leather strap.
Good luck

yes it's a close call between that and the JLC Master Reserve de Marche though. I like the date display and power reserve on the Reserve de Marche.

All great watches. In terms of quality of build and timekeeping I suspect they are all the same. However, I voted for the 8 day, as I prefer JLC to IWC, and I like a "dressier" watch. Good luck with the decision I am sure you wont be disappointed whatever you go with. Look forward to hearing the outcome!

It would be the Master Compressor for me, everything just looks like it's placed just where you want it and how you want it, without it being too busy.

I know the IWC's winning, but couldn't the JLCs form a coalition...?

My vote went for it too - looks far less complicated. I like simple (easy on the eye) watches.

Frankly I still think you have some more narrowing of choices to do. On one side we have the chunky "wear it anywhere" Master Compressor and on the other a series of dress watches which look better when wearing a suit. As an IWC owner, albeit not in this class, I love them but I also love the Hometime and Reserve de Marche. The Geographic for me falls between the two stools of chunkiness and dressiness so that would be the first to be "binned" here. Mind you, at this price level there are also a lot more watches out there to consider!
