My Explorer seems to have seized-up due to lack of use in the summer months when it tends to get left in a drawer. I know it's a self-winder, but it won't start up after winding manually, it must long overdue for a service anyway. I used to give my watches to a jeweler at Old St tube for service, but he seems to have gone & been replaced by a trendy hairstylist.

Any recommendations for a repairer? Ideally central London, or Shoreditch, or maybe South London would be good. Are Rolex themselves worth going to, or hugely expensive?

Cheers, Noggin.

Ryte Time are good (have to post it to him). There's another one PHers use but I can't remember the name. Again, you'll probably have to post it.

Rolex Service centre is in Bexley, so just take it into which is your nearest Rolex authorised dealer who will send it to Bexley.

I've always sent mine away to Rolex for service, as did my father.... they always come back looking like new thumbup
