Im sure this has been discussed before, but the Pistonheads search feature is not available

As per the title, I'm looking for some advise on which model to go for, I can get the GMT now and at a good price, or wait for the new Sub to come available (this could be months unless im willing to pay a premium)

So what is the main differences between the 2 watches, apart from the additional detail on the GMT bezel (and the GMT hand), but in regards to overall size and bracelet etc are they the same watch now that the Sub has a ceramic bezel?

Generally which is the preferred model, the GMT II or the Sub?

Ummm, which one do you like? Do you want the GMT function?

They're pretty much the same now.
The GMT has the GMT function, the Submariner has 300m WR.

My preference would normally be for the Submariner, but I reckon the GMT II suits the chunkier case better.
The new Sub is a bit too fat.
