Tissot Heritage Visiodate Automatic

I spied this in a local jewellers over the weekend. I think it's a great looking dress watch. Has an ETA 2836-2 automatic movement. Available with silver or gold (PVD) case; white or black face; and black or brown band on deployment. Transparent caseback. Retails at around £500 or so (not quite sure as I've only seen prices in Norwegian Kroner).



Reckon I should ask for one from Santa? Is the movement well regarded at this price point?

I really like the design of quite a few Tissot watches, but i think their logo looks really cheap and tacky and completely puts me off!

Very smart, very smart indeed - would look smarter without the second hand though and I can't make up my mind about the logo.

Well, I could only find the white face/brown strap version in any of the high street retailers today. No black ones anywhere to be seen. Surprisingly light weight considering it is not that thin. Seemed a very high quality piece, understated but not at all cheap looking. Nice chunky deployment clasp too. I am officially on the hunt for the black version now.

I spotted this watch online today, after ordering PRC200 T17152652. I think i now need to go & check out a TISSOT Visodate in the flesh.
