Is this to go with the single-single number plate you want to buy at trade cost?

I paid around £4000 for my bluey on a D serial in as new condition with all box and papers from a used dealer. The black face is slightly less sought after but i would hazard a guess as you having to pay around the same sort of price.

Yes, why? Your post sounds a bit like you are trying to be a little bit awkward.

If you are spending over say £1,000 on anything it makes sense to shop around and if I save £1,000-£2,000 then that's good news for me.

Why are you trying to come on and pick a fight/argument?

For what it's worth guys I can get a dealer blue sub with warranty etc for £3500 with box and papers. I have been told the black is more sought after though and the cheapest black one I can get for £3800 but it's older than the blue one (much older)

Thanks

He's not being arse'y. Everybody wants good value for money, but the question is more 'what makes you different from anybody else?'

Why should any dealer, be it in watches or number plates, want to cut themselves to the bone to give you a deal? Times aren't particuarly tight at all in the luxury goods market. Healthy business is still being done. Demand is still there.

If you are going in every year, as some work colleagues of mine do, and dropping some serious money on a watch for yourself/wife/various mistresses, then great, expect a discount, but only after a few years of goodwill is established.

If you are only a one off purchaser, then really, you're no different at all to any one else.

Good luck in your search for the uber deal, but wanting stuff at 'trade' when you're not actually trade, is really a fools errand.

i said where is the cheapest i can get one of these guys. That was the first line of my post.

I was after some helpful replies such as "There is a jewellers in Hull called xxx.com that normally has cheaper deals than the london based traders. Try him".

If I can't get one I won't but i'm only asking for help.

I don't want anyone to give me a free watch or to lose money on one.

There is a jewellers in Hull : http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/

He's highly regarded, give him a ring, and see if he can find you one/do you a deal.
