Help!! Undelivered present so now having to buy local.....

Hi all,

I bought this watch for a xmas present but it's still not with me. I'm going to head into Reading later to buy from the local Goldsmiths.

List is £1860 - having never bought from a 'chain' high street before, what sort of discount should I be aiming for?

In case it affects the possibilities, purchase will be on debit card and made today.

Normally anywhere in the 10 - 20% would be a ball-park figure from the High St but as you're buying on Christmas Eve, there's an element of being held by the swingers - there isn't really much time to play one off against t'other.

Debit card will be fine as they'll want you to pay cash/equivalent. Credit card/interest free credit is usually the no-no.
