First watch, help!

I wanted to remain a top lurker but i have to come out of hiding to ask you all this.

Just bought a tag carrera (2014 if it matters) and was wondering will i do any harm if i leave the tachymetre running, so the red big seconds hand goes round? Just prefer it running really.

I think you mean the chronograph. Extra wear on the movement & likely to run slow.

Not recommended.
