Just wondering what the general opinion is on this model - limited edition for the Japanese market, only 300 pcs. They seem to be about the £2.5k mark if you can get hold of one - emailed a company today but they won't ship.

I'm pretty pro-Sinn in general but to be honest thought this was a bit over-priced when it was released, but then it is geared towards the LE Asian crowd - I guess that's the market value for them there.

I like the flipped pushers/crown, the usual tech but wasn't a fan of the dial - at least not as much as other Sinns. But it's little things for me - the pushers have the same 'grip' finish as the crown - why? They aren't screw-in ones I don't think. Also it's a 30' chrono (as there is no hour counter) which isn't uncommon but to me it doen't make sense; they gain nothing by its omission really as the empty space is filled with text.

It's just one of those watches I should like and for all sorts of little reasons don't 'get', and like I say, I'm a big Sinn fan.

Interesting, but I'd rather have my 757

and £1,400

Oooh, I do like that.

£2500 is a fair bit, though.

There are loads of other nice watches in the Sinn range for <£2k.

Not keen on the hands. They look like an after-thought.

The one the OP posted a picture of is Argon filled.
The oil-filled ones do appeal to me as well!

Chino Watch - they said it was their last one. Another seller has it in Japan but they won't ship outside of Japan.

Is it too late to ask them to post it as a gift? I know some people don't like doing that, though.

Expect to pay a handling fee aswell. I bought a watch from America. When it arrived in England, some local delivery people took over and then charged about £15 for the handling fee.

Could be a few hundred quid extra in tax, but as long as you're not intending on selling it any time soon, it'll be worth it.
