Sure, it's a cracking watch, but this used to win the wrist time battle almost every time

Nearly all my buying & selling is via TZ-UK, but don't try to join just to use it as a market place.

How do you decide what to pass on and what to keep Andy? I understand that your motive for selling is to raise funds for other watches but I seem to remember a lot of enthusiasm around the 2nd Bremont in your pics when you took ownership of it, and now it's gone.
I don't have a big collection by any means and maybe I'll add another one or two in the coming months, though I may get to the point whereby I'll have to sell before I buy again simply because of funding issues.

If you place clearly worded ads, with good photo's then yes, you can get good prices. Certainly way better than you could expect if you sold to or PX'd with a dealer and unlike ebay there are no fees to pay, However, you're selling to an informed audience so it's worth researching before pricing.

There is always a honeymoon period with a new watch, but after a while if a watch just isn't getting picked out the watch box & worn, it's days are usually numbered.

I was surprised the Bremont went!

Give it a week and you'll regret selling it. jester

If you do join, join now not when you want to sell a watch. This gives you time to post decent posts commensurate with your interest and enjoyment of watches rather than post-rushing the minimum 50 in order to sell a £3k watch... firstly, nobody will trust a one day old member who spammed the forum with "Hello!", "Nice!", "Used to have one." to get access to the sales corner and, secondly, the forum admin will wait until you've made your 50th post and delete your account. hehe

Very nice.

I think you could put a picture of it on a few more threads though. hehe

What's the diameter of it and how large does it actually "wear"?

Approx 42mm across excluding the crowns & 15mm thick. The hand wounds are thinner.

I'd say it wears as you expect for those dims - certainly plenty of wrist presence.

nice turnaround!
We may have similar taste in watches. I used to have a black explorer 11 which I replace with gmt2c.

I have the same autavia as yours albeit the 'lesser' tag heuer re-edition. I wear it on the black leather and orange stitching strap. Love it.

My fav of the moment is IWC portuguese 7 days though.
