Bit of a crappy post but needs must i'm afraid.

Have got a Signet card from our insurers for £600 to be used at Ernest Jones, Leslie Davies or H Samuel.

Ideally i'd love to use it as a deposit on a Speedmaster, but I just can't justify it at the moment.

Is there anything available from any of the 3 jewellers above that I can purchase and resell more or less straight away and recoup as much of the cash as possible?

I'd stick the card on ebay but they don't seem to sell for anything near their face value.

TIA

You'd be surprised Dan, these seem to sell at c80-85p in the pound. It's not my thing, but I can certainly point you in the right direction....

It would sell on TZ-UK - those looking to buy an expensive watch sometimes buy multiple cards at slightly reduced rates in order to get their discount on something that may not otherwise be discounted.

Be wary on ebay as the card is classsed as a gift card and as such ebay and paypal buyer protection don't cover gift cards.

So you might not get as many takers as you think.

Close to Tag F1 money? They seem to sell well on the 'bay.

Put it for sale in the Watches & Jewellery classifieds section on here. It'll be gone in a flash. I'd suggest £500.

Montblanc pens are always a good bet, they should sell at £20-£30 below list.
