First impressions it seems too cheap.

100% feedback however.

Hopefully someone else can give some info?

RRP on these is (or was) £285 on the bracelet.

There are knock offs about, and at that price I would be highly suspicious this is one of them.

I just can't see that being genuine for the money. As the saying goes, if it looks to good to be true........

Nice genuine pic of the box, but is the watch shown that which will be sold...the pic is faint enough to go either way.

Be aware that being a high seller there are fake 200's, mainly from China. Here's a good guide: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f62/how-spot-fake-tis...

To me, even on the poor pic, it looks like the tachymetre printing is too close to the crystal rather than being centred.

Probably as most people who buy a fake 200 don't even know it themselves...

Was looking at one the other day, Good job I didn't buy it if this is the real deal.

Someone has asked if it is real and the seller has confirmed it so surely you have some come-back with ebay/paypal if it turns out to be a fake..

Someone buy one and check, Then I will hehe

If the guide is anything to go by, the Tachymetre markings are too close to the edge of the rehaute.

I have a real one, they are blatantly fakes.

Having said that I asked one of the sellers for a metal bracelet for one as I have the leather....cost? £14.....real ones £99-120.... what do you think? wink

(PS I don't care if the bracelet is fake as long as its not total cr@p and fits ok so for a minor risk of £14 I am buying the bracelet)

I'm still debating this in my head. I've always wondered about buying a fake or non-standard bracelet as a replacement and keeping the original in pristine condition. I mean, if you had a Rolex Sub, would an Alpha Sub bracelet fit?

Morally, it is wrong if it's a fake (but possibly ok if it's an Alpha or Parnis) (but where do fakes come from etc?). And unlike having a fake watch, you're not trying to trick anyone but just preserving the bracelet? I dunno.

I agree - there are plenty of honest traders trying to make a living out of aftermarket straps and bracelets; and you get to opt for a little bit of creativity as well.

I would put an aftermarket strap on any watch if needed, I wouldn't put a fake strap with logos/etching/branding etc of the original brand as I see it as stealing and blatant fraud.
But but but... a non-fake lookalike is the issue for me... eg one from Alpha or Parnis.

I don't see why not SN, but is it like fake 'plane parts which fail at the moment of greatest need...?

It's possible. Are Alpha bracelets that bad? Should I replace it with a Rolex one? biggrin

But if you or anyone else did want to buy and show a replica watch then that's got nothing to do with me, it's none of my business.
I wouldn't as they supposedly work alongside criminals. I wouldn't mind taken one apart just to see how much a replica it is, though.

I have this watch with metal bracelet, its very nice for the money but certainly these must be fake. I paid around £220 for mine last year.

Its hard to tell if its a fake, if it is fake its been well done. I have a real (bought from a Tissot dealer) PRC200 but in a different style.

Price is very cheap

Mind you I bought a pelican pen from Asia on ebay for 30% of the price in the UK (£300). I needed a new nib and dent the pen off to Pelican and they happily confirmed that it was genuine and provided a new nib and serviced it FOC.

Anyone know where I can get a quality aftermarket metal bracelet for a PRC200 then. I would rather have this than a fake Tissot one but I looked around and did not see much I liked.
