I noticed this a while ago and thought it was pretty cool but couldnt find any more info on it until i stumbled across it again recently and started to do some research. I managed to find a few on eBay and purchased one as soon as i could. Most people i talk to about it consider it a waste of money but i still think its pretty damn cool.

I am currently waiting on it to be delivered and not looking forward to the import taxes im going to have to pay :|. For a bit more info and pics on the watch click here.

At first I thought it was a LCD watch, or something similar to the Kisai Satellite, but the link gave a bit more information! tongue out Not keen on it, to be honest. I don't like the fact I would have to keep looking at the side of the watch to tell the time. Also, if you wear the watch on your left wrist, 'Time 3' and 'Time 4' are difficult to read ...

It's definitely different and would certainly attract comments from people. If you like it, then that's all that matters - You're the one wearing it! thumbup

I was so close to getting a satellite but i dont really find plastic materials very appealing for anything but Casios. I wanted a watch that im going to be able to keep for years and thats going to be in pretty much the same condition as when i bought it.

Kinda cool, but:-

1) Those dials are pretty small
2) Who needs 4 time zones?
3) I'd probably struggle to remember what 2 to 4 were.
4) Watch snob that I am, there is no way I could wear a Diesel

Diesel do have some very interesting designs and aren't too unlike Police in their fashionable type of style and position in the marketplace, they don't compare to your typical £2k plus (insert brand name here) but you already know that. I think that it has an appeal to it, very distinctive and I'd presume that if it's coming in from another country then you're not going to see another one 'in the wild' so to speak, though I'm not too sure personally how long it'd take before I got bored of it - would get a buzz of it at first but then maybe go downhill after that confused
As has already been said though you're the one wearing it and you seem pretty keen, sod everyone else, but actually that kind of enthusiasm can rub off. Post pics when you get it!

ETA the strap retaining screws would should satisfy the OCDers amongst us laugh

biggrin Cool until you have to explain you need a magnifying glass to see the time on it! Totally naff IMO.

You asked for opinions, right... the blank space seems a pointless waste. I'd never use 4 timezones, either, so I'd rather the other slots had other uses. That said, you're the one wearing it, so if you love it that is all that matters, really. I can see the attraction, though; it's kind of ultra minimalist because the dials are "hidden".

Out of interest, how much did you pay for it?

It seems a seller on Amazon has one for £377 (eek), so you've done well to find one at such a price!
