Tissot PRC200 vs V8 vs any other suggestions?
Discussion
After about 6 years of fairly faultless service I think its time to replace my Tissot PRS200 with something else. The two watches that have caught my eye are the PRC2O0:

and the V8:

Has anybody got either of these? I have a budget of £300 and am wanting another chronograph, perhaps a little bigger and chunkier than the PRS200 that I have at the moment- any other suggestions would be welcome!

Argh! Went out yesterday with he intention of picking one of the Tissots once and for all, only to be told by the OH that my budget is now £1k (turn 30 next week, was looking to get a small present for myself but she was also looking at getting me a watch so now I have to choose one for her to buy me). The unexpected increase in budget has led me to this:

I know next to nothing about the brand but the Tag Carrera-esque looks (to my eye anyway) with a price within my budget do appeal - would value some opinions!

Nice looking watch, but I have to say that for the budget you now have, you could go mechanical.
I know it's all a bit snobbish, but there is something special about wearing a precision engineered mechanical watch. IMHO
If my OH said that to me I'd JUMP at this watch!

Just to close this off- after much deliberation and research, I have plumped for:

Longines Hydroconquest Chrono - Can't give an amazing reason as to why, I just like the look of it!
After some hunting round and some excellent service from the watchfinder.co.uk website I managed to speak to a dealer about an hour away and I will be picking it up on Saturday- can't wait!
