What year is this Oris ?

A pal has recently bought this very nice Oris (633 ?) on ebay, but he wants to know a bit more about it; he got it for a very good price, with a view to giving it as a 21st present to his son ( lucky lad !). Assuming his son likes the design...it will be handed over soon.

However, does any one know the age of this model ( we are guessing about mid 90's ?), and it seems from a bit of quick research that the 'gold' model is not very common.


It does have the 'Red Rotor' which is fairly recent, but if anyone knows anything more that would be appreciated.
I have been on the Oris website but there does not seem to be any information about the older models.
