I love my Blue Angels and when the screen cracked 6 months ago I put it in the man draw with the measuring tape and radiator bleeder and forgot about it,

Anyhoo I now have a replacement screen and the local "watch doctor" place have quoted me £49 to replace it as it needs stripping, boiling, and special glues etc.

Are they having me pants down or is there more to replacing a screen than I thought? Tbh I was expecting a 30 minute wait and a cost of no more than £10!

The glass seems to be pressed into the bezel, the bezel however does not rotate.

Certainly should be less than £49 is the glass mineral(window glass) or sapphire?

I'm supplying the glass, £49 is what they are charging to fit it! They reakon 2-3 weeks turn around and £49 in labour and glue and things. The glass I supplied is sapphire.

A complete piss take then...
£49 to supply and fit would be pricey.
