So my wife just got her new car yesterday with a little help from me, so i'm looking to treat myself.

It's a toss up between

or

Two entirely different watches I grant you, but can't decide between the hardcore or the sedate

Also, anyone use Creation Watches? their prices seem almost too good

Plenty of people have used Creation,...including me about 1/2 an hour ago!.

I'll keep you posted but there seems to be enough positive comments about them for me to give them a go.

Oh and it wouldnt be the Tao for me smile

This. I don't buy into this "homage" nonsense.

Personally I don't like either, the Seiko is a kind of generic Rolex look-alike and the Tao just looks like a cheap Chinese copy of something 1970s. But don't go on my word hehe

No brainer surely?

I found Creation to be very helpful. I was in Singapore & asked if they could get a watch to my hotel the next day & they did. Good prices too.

I have nothing to say on the watches, but I love the grade A bloke logic on the go here! Wife has bought a car, therefore I MUST treat myself! smile

Seiko, and Creation are great - though they will keep sending you emails with lots of wallet emptying ideas every few weeks or so hehe

I don't actually mind the 'homage' as I quite like the look of the original Pams, personnal choice as to if you 'get' them or not I guess.

Yup in this case, homage. Nobody has a clue who Panerai are outside of watch circles hehe

Seiko. The other watch is a fake, no matter how earnestly they use the word homage.

I bought an SKX007J from creation last week. It is a fabulous watch - so well made at any price, let alone £125. The service from creation is fabulous (I cannot recommend them highly enough) and Seiko are a proper watch company making their own stuff in their own way.
