Didn`t notice it was an automatic which is not my favourite either.but Luke can you show me anywhere to get a steel one for 5 to 8 hundred?
Second hand ones are about at that sort of money, there have been a couple on TZ at that price over the passed few months. My Speedmaster Triple Date with B&Ps was sold on there for £850 in December.

p.s. why is the Automatic less desirable?
The whole Speedy heritage and the current moon watch/pro versions are all still hand wind. Auto's never have been accepted as a good Speedy. They do however make exceptional 2nd hand buys because of that though and if it floats your boat why not, its the first owner that has taken the hit.On a personal taste note, I'm not taken by Bi-metal watches, although the rose gold does look nice.

Tripe IMO, but then I have had an auto one!

I don't like having a daily wearer that doesn't have a date, so the Professional isn't for me.
It's nice, but I preferred my Triple Date.

As mentioned, they make cracking second hand buys.
