Seiko SKX009 Oyster bracelet question
Discussion
Hi all,
Took delivery of the 009 pictured in the 'Incoming' thread (page 49, can't post pic up now as I'm at work) and I've a q concerning the bracelet...
Firstly, it all looks fine, no marks or any signs of mis-treatment. Where one of the cupped end pieces matches up to the watch head one of them 'chinks' against the head itself and appears to be loose around the pin and case. I popped the pin out to find that the end piece is a shell as opposed to something solid and it appears that I might be able to bend the shell a little bit to stop the chinking...
Anyone had any experience with these?

Cool, thanks guys
I'll have a steady handed play with a pair of needle nosed pliers!
Must admit though, I didn't really expect that of a Seiko. I know that it's not exactly their top-of-the-range set-up but after being used to my (not much more expensive and still relatively cheap) Monster the bracelet and clasp don't really compare - the Monster's is so much better but maybe the trade off is the ease of sizing on the Oyster... Still, I like the style of the links and the head so I won't be flipping this one just yet

They are that thin that you can actually close the rear flaps with your finger nail
Speak for yourself.
You know I'm just teasing. It's possible that my finger strength is just as strong as yours given that I've been known to hang my body weight off 2-3 finger tips.
