Miyota are, I think, Japanese movement. They are accurate.

The watch looks ok, and isn't too expensive I guess.

If you like the look of it, go for it, you can always pop it on here/TZ if you don't.

Imo not much beats the build of a Seiko also the Seiko bezel mechs are smooth and precise some brands are not.

Alternatively you could get one of these if you want a 1k depth rating. I have one and they're a nice - if a little chunky - watch.

If it helps, I've tested mine down to the bottom of the bath whilst bathing my two year old son. There is an article on the Werners site about depth testing - they certainly seem up to the job for sport diving.
