Evening chaps,

I have a small dilemma. As some of you may know, the beloved Motochron has been in my ownership for just over a week now and I’m really chuffed with it so far. But, the front of the casing seems to of suffered from some very fine clusters of scratches, desk diving injuries I presume. There's also quite a small, but significant 'chip' on the front left side of the case.

Now then, they may be small but I’d like this watch to be restored to its former glory. So naturally, these small imperfections ideally need to be treated. The watch is booked in for a service and a strap change (so to keep the original intact) next month so that'll hopefully be half of the hurdle covered.

My question being, how would I go about tidying the case of these scratches and mainly that nasty looking 'chip'? I'm expecting it to be quite a daunting job but again, I’m not entirely sure. Would it be something I could do myself? Or would it be quite a specialist job?

Thanks in advance.
