Hi gents, thought you might be interested to see the special edition design I've been working on with CW for quite a while. Been quite fun trying to make something bespoke (ish)

More info in vmax forum.

Cheers,

C

Nice watch Craig, I really like it - well done smile

This is just my opinion, but circa £450 is a tad rich for a quartz....

Looks really nice. Lovely in fact.

If I was really nit-picking I would comment that the strap should have red stitching rather than the orange shown as it would look better with the red details on the watch.

Looks great. FWIW I picked up a CW watch about 8 months ago. I ended up going to their offices to collect it as I wanted to see it first. Amazing service and the watch is just brilliant! I get more compliments on it that I do on watches costing over 5x what my CW cost and they are superbly well built. They stack up against far more expensive watches (although their prices do seem to be edging up).

Personally I think it looks great Craig. Good job.

I'd have no problem with a quartz movement at that price, an auto (which means a 7750) would be double I'd guess. I also think there is a place for quartz, and this is probably just about the perfect example - a pick up and go watch with high accuracy. I don't know much about quartz movements but this one seems well regarded, and I think its the same one as in the Breitling Emergency.

I guess my one little complaint would be the lack of COSC certification which would be a great option.
