I am helping a friend clear a relative’s house and I have been tasked with categorizing items to be sold, donated to charity or taken to the tip. I have found an old Rotary wristwatch. As it is not currently working (no battery installed) and quartz my first instinct was tip but having looked at it a bit further I am now not so certain so would be grateful if anyone knows anything about old Rotary watches.
On the face it says ROTARY, QUARTZ, T-SWISS MADE-T and on the back it says WATER RESISTANT, STAINLESS STEEL, 3565 (which I assume is a model number but I cannot find any information surfing the web) and 1.043.0.0.81 (which I assume is a serial number).
Any information gratefully received.

Harsh, but true.

Worth keeping for sentimental value perhaps.

Will probably have an ETA or Ronda movement, worth a £1's worth of battery to see if it goes.

Assuming the old battery hasn’t leaked into the quartz module, I bet that would spring into life after a battery change.

A nice little dress watch, that, and it should be worn.

Every post above is true.
If you got it going, it's value on the second hand market is about the same as what you'd expect to pay for a battery change.
Could be anything from very late 1980's onwards.

That back unscrews - you might need a watchmaker to take it off for you.....
