JLC Reverso or Cartier Tank?

Purely hypothetical question in my case.

They’re both rectangular with Art Deco styling.

I was looking at one website that reckoned that JLC kept their value because Cartier were seen as a fashion brand. I don’t know about resale values but I’ve perceived Cartier as higher than JLC.

I suppose the JLC has the gimmick of the fold over case and two dials on some models but it does make them less than slimline.

What’s the opinion of the watchheads here?

I have a Reverso night and day and a Roadster.
They are both very good watches, but the Reverso is definitely nicer than the Cartier.

I would regard JLC as a better watchmaker than Cartier. The Reverso would get my vote.

Reverso for me. Well, both probably. I'd be patient on the secondary market.
