My insurer requires a valuation of my explorer as I value it higher than original RRP. Local jeweller, not AD is quoting north of £200 to evaluate it and takes several weeks. Is that reasonable? It’s definitely a lot more than I was expecting.
I’ve never had to get a watch valued but sounds a complete p£ss take to me. I’ve had quite a few cars valued for agreed value insurance policies which the dealer / specialist appears always quite happy to offer foc ! Maybe an AD might be receptive to a quick email ?
