Just fyi for those that might be interested.

This Tag reference is up for sale at £2279 at Costco right now. It's priced at £2700 at WOS.

Have a good evening

You can often negotiate a discount on TAG.

And previous models are usually available in the outlet villages as well.

Why be a snob about it?
Does a shiney suited, pointed shed, hair gelled 23 year old working in a massive chain of shops selling you a watch make you feel superior?

Wow, straight to the personal insults huh?

I don’t think ‘premium brand’ (and therefore price of 2-3k) really go with ‘cash and carry’ so if that makes me a snob, so be it. No other brand would feel the need to sell their watches through an outlet like this - it tells you a lot about Tag that they do. I.E. watch equiv of Ratners.

I've seen Rolex in the cabinets too. Not since the craziness began but a few years back. Frequently see Omega.

What most don't know, factory warranty does not apply to the 'premium' watches sold via Costco as they are not an AD. So costco warranties the watches themselves.

Thanks, I just went by the WOS price and thought the Costco price was cheaper.
I assume the Watches of Mayfair will be full factory warranty?

Does make you wonder why anybody would buy from the WOS group. I'm sure you could negotiate a discount but probably not the £600 price differential

Costco warranty is probably better lol. Never had them quibble over anything I have returned with a problem.

Yep

I saw a 31mm datejust about ten years ago in costco. It was not especially cheap but was there.

I wonder where they sourced it from

Have you ever set foot in Costco and actually looked at what they sell for a "cash and carry"?

I wouldn’t care if they sold them in the middle isle of Aldi - in my opinion they are just watches - nice looking ones with good mechanics - but the rest is just Branding . . .
