I've got a few watches I'd like to sell but not really sure where the best place to sell them is:

1) Chrono24
2) Watchfinder
3) Vestaire Collective

Watches are IWC Mk XV (bought new in 2004), Tag Heuer Carrera CV2110-0 and Omega Speedmaster 3110.10 in gold/steel

I've only ever sold one and that was with Watchfinder. Hasslefree. If you choose to sell they send you a courier bag for you to arrange collection at your convenience. Recommended, but only at a price you're happy with.

Hmm, just tried a quote with Watchfinder and they were offering me 2/3rds of what I was expecting.

Do people actually trust couriers with watches worth thousands?

I know eBay gets a bad name but with the authentication guarantee it is probably the best place for private sellers of watches.

I would sense check what you think they are worth with their actual worth, it might be that what you want for them is effectively what a retailer would like to sell them for.

Worth checking prices on CH24 and watch chart UK and popping them on the watches for sale thread on here.

Yes, the Watchfinder price is about 2/3rds of the CH24 price.

Dom's the man to speak to - just sold my Tudor to him, far better price than watch finder and money in my account with in an hour of him receiving the watch.

Also try BQ watches of London. They outbid everyone by some margin when I sold.
