Since that this credit crunch has taken hold of the UK, does any one know where i can get a reasonable discount on a new stainless perpetual rolex?

Credit crunch or not, Rolex have raised the RRP more than once in the last year. The weak pound/strong Swiss franc isn't going to help you either.

I have just got a far bigger discount than expected on a Submariner, brand new, from Crouch's in Cardiff.

You can get 15% off in any shop, but I buy all my watches from either watches of switzerland in manchester or goldsmiths at the trafford centre. and depending on the make/model will depend on the discount. I got a seadweller for 25% off but had to pay list price for a daytona but jumped the 6 year waiting list. Despite what they say, credit crunch or not, there is always a deal to be had. Just tell them you have the cash and are willing to shop around.

With my seadweller, i told the girl if she didnt get me a price i couldnt refuse id walk to the shop across the road and ask to beat there price. 25% off did it for me.

Brietlings are my thing and ive had 35% off a superocean steelfish, went back for my 25th birthday to the same guy to buy a blackbird in white gold only to be told they couldnt knock any cash off it because its a limited edition, after a weeks negotiation i got £5k off it.

Stick at it, treat it like any prestige purchase and tbey will fight for your money.

u got time?

Because I have a voucher from insurance claim and need cash, I am willing to knock £500 off any watch purchase from Ernest, at the moment in croydon they have monaco with chrono, Rolex Explorer Sub without a date...... any with £500 off? anyone interested let me know it's an honest deal. I have too many watches at the moment! Need some cash !
