Today I've been wearing...

A comical but strangely appealing 'daybird' watch.

It is truly cheap and horrible. Well the strap was. So I scrapped it and put it on a leather strap I took off my Tag Carrera.
I really like it!
Strap is about 4 times the price of the watch, watch was literally a few quid.
No battery, you can see the internals from the back, it has a weird moon/sun thing which changes during the day/night and it has kept time over the weekend as well as any of my watches that in some cases cost about 500 times more.
Now its on the strap, its actually pretty neat looking and you wouldnt know it was so cheap.
I'm impressed - so I'm going to wear it for a couple of days until the novelty wears off.
Apologies for poor photo, taken on my PDA.

The Chinese *do* make a real tourbillon. I'm guessing this one is not - presumably it's just the balance wheel you see in the display hole in the dial?
I'm not sure, looks pretty impressive though and the quality really is pretty spectacluar for a £20 watch - especially now the cheap, awful strap has been swapped.Forum | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
