Went onto Omega's site after seeing a nice Seamaster in the Wrist Check thread and could not believe how many they have.

https://www.omegawatches.com/en-gb/watchfinder?gcl...

Two Hundred and Four different versions of the Seamaster...!

Why on earth do they need that many?! No wonder I never know which one is which laugh

EDIT: ... and 77 Speedmasters

Isn't it just down to different colour combinations of a lower number of different models?

I have totally lost track too. Between the Moonwatch, Speedy, Speedy Reduced, etc etc etc I lost the will to live. I have a Speedy 57 and there are about 16 different variations. Some have the bracelet and some a leather strap, so they each get their own reference.

Totally agree - have been on omega site to look at seamasters and planet Ocean - TOTALLY confusing with all the variants. I find it a bit off putting it

It is off putting. I was tempted by Speedmaster last year and was soon overwhelmed with the number of variants.

Although that didn't stop me buying a Seamaster Planet Ocean biggrin

I wonder if this includes all the 'limited edition' models?

I do love my Omegas but they are keen on using the limited edition stamp at every opportunity. laugh

biggrin

I wonder if there's anyone out there who has a small collection of SMPs with subtle differences eg different colour straps and bezels that came with the watch they bought?

I wonder how many different oyster case Rolex variants there are?

Anyone counted recently?
Even if you just took the OPs and DJs there must be over 50 once you consider the different sizes, bezels, dials and strap options.
