Hi all. Quite fancy a JLC Reverso Tribute Moon for a special event on the 10th. Any tips on where to buy a new one at a sensible price? Thanks.

Nick (Jaeger LeCoultre brand manager at Harrods) is very helpful - he used to be at the JLC boutique and was my go to guy.
There are also plenty of grey (unused) of this model on chrono24. If you find one stateside I'd be happy to fedex it over to you from here, although the exchange rate isn't exactly in your favour so much right now so maybe not so big a saving to be made.

Also, have you ever tried a Reverso on before? I have several, and they do wear very differently to many watches.
The model you are looking at is one of the largest cases at a micron under 50mm x 30mm lug to lug. My daily is a grande taille size, which is 42 x 26 - I really liked some of the models only available in grande size cases - in prticular the 976 and 1931 seconde centrale - but they were just too big for my wrists, which was surprising.. be careful with the sizing is all I'm saying.

Also: scratch magnets hehe

This is interesting. No, never tried one on. I do have fairly narrow wrists, so maybe I need to head into the nearest city and try one on. Thank you.

Good point! Rectangular watches wear larger than round ones. I tried several Reversi / Reverso / Reversoes and only the medium-sized were right.
