Bulgari - thinnest perpetual calendar ever made
Discussion
Not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm constantly impressed by what this brand produce. I believe AP previously made the thinnest perpetual calendar watch at a gargantuan 6.3mm (with 4.3mm movement).
This thing is 5.8mm thick, with the movement only 2.75mm
I honestly can't get my head around that
408 components apparently, and it has an automatic winder. It's an amazing feat of engineering if nothing else (even more so, I think, from a brand not as commonly associated with watches)...

The perpetual calendar above is very impressive. I bet when wearing it’s a stunner.
I almost bought a pre-owned Octo recently, but couldn’t quite commit. I do think they are great looking & they’ve come a long wa from being a jewellery house.
I also think they’ll appreciate in value in the long run as they become more fashionable. The basic steel Octo is the new kid on the block tool watch IMO.
