Been looking at treating myself to a new to me watch to partner the trusty Rado.

Something that looks completely different. I quite like the fact it`s British and is not going to garner too much attention.

I`m not sure how much these were available for new but something tells me this is a little pricey.

Does anyone have any further info?

Just my opinion but that's a 4.5k fairground trinket. It's horrible.

£4.5k?

Get a Newmark 6BB for £200. More heritage, less money to set on fire.

I think it's lovely. Plus a little different than the crowd. Let us know if it ends up on your wrist.

It’s nice but also meh- & the cost is too much
Spend a couple of grand more & get a blancpain 50 fathoms - true great horological stuff on your wrist
You will thank me

Double that (eBay), Just checked their website Newmark don’t have any watches for sale at the moment. Cool watches though.

If it`s not going to hold any value then I`m oot.

Plan b is an IWC pilot much like:

May have to wait a bit longer for that one though. just had bill for 4 new tyres. That bill alone would have bought a thoroughly decent watch.

I can’t see what the issue is, if you like it that’s the only important thing. Why not try and get a place on one of their factory tours. Learn a little more about the company and what makes it tick (Excuse the pun). I have a place in October and I’m really looking forward to it.

That sounds cool, please let me know how it goes. I`d jump on that if I could.

Sure, sounds like a plan. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Christopher Ward, ok, not a factory which is what I’m interested in, but still really nice to meet real people. Lange sponsored the recent Concours at Hampton Court and had watchmakers on hand who were really happy to talk through how the different models are made. Most of this hobby, branding / OD’s / brand ambassadors to me is absolute guff. It’s the history, innovation, craft and manufacturing that make it great.

I really like their new kahki line actually.

I like the brand and most of the watches for sure, but my issue is their cost vs value.

They do not carry their price tags IMO.
