Loud bangs around Welwyn Garden City

Every month there seems to be a huge firework display somewhere around J6 of the A1, towards WGC or Hatfield. I have just heard it again, at 8:15pm this evening. No flashes in the sky, but very large bangs and pops.

Next time I will video it. I have absolutely no idea what it is, my friend down the road hears this too so its not my hearing.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Brocket Hall has parties and displays. Usually 9.30pm on Saturdays. Had a huge display around Xmas and Thanksgiving.

I'm about 1/2km from the junction and can see it from our deck perfectly.

I heard this last night too, and I live in Tewin. We were also in a workshop running lots of machinery at the time too

I think I managed to see a couple of fireworks through the trees, but that was about it.

Wonder if you saw/heard my fireworks display on January 5th - also in Tewin.

Not from memory, but entirely possible. I live between Desborough drive and Tebbutt's shop.

Ah ok, they were viewable from Tewin Village so I hear, perhaps not from Tebbots side. My road leads on from Desborugh Drive, no wonder I have seen your car a few times.

That would explain it

After looking at your cars in your garage, I now recognise where you are, so I don't think I would have been able to see the fireworks.
