Hi everyone,

I have just moved to St.Albans and cannot find anywhere to wash my car!

I have used the carwash at Sainsburys just off the roundabout for the M25 but all that did was replace the dirt for swirls and scratches. Is there a jet wash or good hand car wash around here? The flat i have moved into has an underground car park so i have no facility to do it myself at the moment.

Cheers

Sainsbury's at the bottom left of Holywell Hill have a team of car washing persons. (I've never used them myself)

They are okay but personally the chaps at the Homebase just a bit further down the road do a better job.

You can haggle on price with them for the more expensive cleans.

Good Jet-wash at the Texaco in Harpenden Road (A1081).

It used to have programmes, but is now 'buy-time' with manual selection. Very good pressure - great for blasting crud out of the wheel-arches.
