I feel sad, many fond memories of taking cadets on there. She did look very sorry the last few years though.

She was looking well tired with rust perforation near the water line when I stayed on her 20 years ago, surprised she lasted this long.

Just curious what thickness of steel there is that level nowadays? 10mm steel?

Shell plating is typically 12-25mm depending on strength requirements.
