Seems to be a regional if not national shortage of these two vital products. Twiglets I could understand as seasonal surge but wondering why all the chicken has disappeared from the shelves? Brexit or is the Avian flu outbreak having a large effect?

I suspect the reason can be found in the supermarket car parks, cramming their cars full of chicken.

Twiglets are disgusting anyway, no loss there.

Want banning.

I've flagged it this up to the mods, hopefully a lifetime ban for that comment.

I totally disagree with the idea of banning things.

Except marmite & twiglets.

It's the Cheese Footballs which are *always* the challenge. Every single year giant piles of tubs of Twiglets but never any cheese footballs.

We've already bought our twiglets, so we're ready for the next zombie apocalypse/Brexit.

Cheese straws are my kryptonite though. I bought some for the Christmas period, then ate the entire box for lunch frown

Many things.
Probably a result of PTSD from taking your cat to the vets...

Can't stand marmite or twiglets...

It's not just twiglets, it's Mexican chilli nuts too. When will this hell end?

No chicken and twiglets? That's my Christmas dinner plans ruined.

Pringle sandwiches it is then.

Didn't they used to be about 3" long, like savoury matchmakers back in the day?

Genuine question: I'm not trying to become the new Peter Kay..."eh, breathing, eh? Remember when you had to use your lungs instead of a respirator? Ah tell thee...!"

Twiglets can be a remarkable resource in that regard - whittle one end of a twiglet to a sharpened point, and it can be used as an improvised weapon against the ghastly horde of shuffling brain-dead abominations.

No idea whether they're any good against zombies though.

I was in Aldi last night. Loads of Twiglets but a worrying lack of arc welders.
