Not convinced. I’d rather use those ingredients in an omelette.

I agree, I'd go out of my way not to have to eat rice, ham and cheese for dinner.
I was just thinking that myself as I was rustling up a ham and cheese risotto. Oops!

When I saw the title of the post, I was expecting it to be about a ham and cheese toastie. So simple, yet so delicious and satisfying at the same time. I'd have to agree with some of the other posters, not what would come to mind if I'm putting together a rice based dish.

Spam with rice and cheese and spam in the same sentence?

Seems like a very odd dish to serve at school. Where is the moisture coming from? Sounds very dry
