I give it a quick once over with a kitchen roll after it cools.
Periodically I "cook up" without coffee to run boiling water through it and once in a blue moon I strip it clean the nooks and crannies with an artists' paintbrush then soak the stripped components in boiling water before polishing them up with kitchen roll.
Some friends and family (Italians) refuse to clean them at all
Am curious to hear of anyone who throws theirs in the dishwasher and still pours a perfect coffee every morning.

Just rinse it out with plain water.

Don't clean it as such

This. Take it apart, rinse it all and let it dry before putting it back together again.

Bialetti Brikka Moka pot, so one extra piece.

I use it infrequently now, but when I did: scrubbing pad and washing up liquid every time, then complete disassembly and full clean once a month.

I just give it a good scrub with the other washing up and when I remember, I remove the filter and seal, clean them and put it all back together when dry.

Coffee grounds go in the food recycling bin then a quick rinse under the hot tap and on to the drying rack overnight. No washing up liquid, no scrubbing and definitely no dishwasher.
