Off to brum in a couple weeks on a Saturday lunchtime to meet up with old work colleagues. We all fancy a quality lunch then a few nice boozers in the centre.
Any recommendations?
Age 35 ish to 45ish
We will be leaving brum 6pm ish

Depends on what you mean by quality lunch really.

Trillium by Glyn Purnell for a small plates place is decent. As is his tapas bar.

Had lunch in Blacklock yesterday.

Very happy with both service and food.

Don’t know Brum too well but been in the Welly a few times. Good ale and atmosphere plus the staff were friendly.
Was out back having a smoke with the barmaid and a homeless guy came past looking very cold and miserable so she went inside and made him a cuppa and gave him a few rollies.

Brilliant options. Cheers
Nothing really fancy for lunch. Just decent grub to line the
Stomach before 5 or 6 pints then home by 7pm.
