EIGHT ice creams to yourself? I know they're 'mini' but that does seem a tad extravagant!

Maybe a mild exaggeration - I can get through 6-8, some days there are 2 or 3 left over . . . . which is nice smile

The heat's been getting to me here.

Chocolate hob nobs (or the own brand variants) dipped in ice cold milk. I can (and do) polish off a pack in a sitting. Yes, I'm 8 years old.

Have you tried them crumbled up with ice cream on?

Damn you. I will now!

On the subject of ice cream, the Lidl version of B&J Phish Food is really rather good.

Toffee Yum Yums from Morrisons. A mate introduced me to them a few months ago so they seem to slip into my trolley every visit.

I found these recently. £1 a bag from the local corner shop.

So moreish...they do have MSG in them, so that explains why.

You can do that with more or less any biscuit, a useful way of using up stale ones or livening up vanilla ice cream if you have nothing else to go with it.

You can also be a bit healthier and put the crumbled biscuit in yoghurt and some fruit.

Arla protein chocolate flavour pudding. Very nice, high protein, low fat and 5 for £5 from Ocado/M&S at the moment.

Nothing specific, but some of the random-brand local shop snacks are brilliant.

I like a bit of bombay mix and similar, but the supermarket stuff is bland AF. It's almost always the case that the local shop brand you've never heard of will be much, much better.

I love Mr Kipling's French Fancies, and his Mini-Battenbergs go down a treat.
