Anyone from the north east area ever been to this establishment? does it still exist? if so, what sort of food does it serve, and is it any good?

Been to Oscar's in York. Traditional British pub fayre - sausage and mash with inion gravy, steaks, club sandwiches, usually oretty good. But it may be totally different from the one you're on about.
