Mrs Murdoch has purchased a couple of sirloin steaks from ASDA, they don't look particularly great tbh.

Any tips on how I could get the best out of them (preparation?, marinading?, lots of garlic? etc etc)

Cheers

cut into thin strips and use for stir fry. Asda steak is practically inedible - I know from bitter experience - but my dog was delighted hehe

Make her eat both cooked for 20 minutes a side. She won't make the same mistake again. Send her to the butchers Doc.

OP here

New Bloke came to the rescue! Marinaded it in red wine, Worcester sauce and garlic, and it tasted all right. Not gourmet, but edible (which was the best I could hope for).

Thanks

You're welcome - glad it did the job. Try it with some half-decent rump some time - served with aligot and some watercress, it really is great.
