... It all started years ago when I first discovered silver skin onions in turmeric. Then came the gerkins and tomatoes. I tried to wean myself off them by buying ploughmans pickles, but they just made me feel like a tramp.

Then... Oh god, why did I do it... I discovered crinkle cut pickled beetroot.I'm now on two large bottles a week and the habits growing.

I warn you, it's a habit worse than crystal meth!

Any more pickle junkies out there, or is it just me?

Tell me I'm not alone!

Silver skin onions in turmeric sound tastey!

I love pickles beatroot, pickled onions, cornichons etc.

Must be the vinegar

Beetroot is a super food, so keep on in my opinion!

(Might not get many kisses from the ladies though)

Garner's pickled onions. Feck me they're good.

I'd make my own (and indeed I have) only this involves many hours peeling the little buggers, then stinking the house out with onion smells and boiling vinegar.

Gherkins and rollmops (I will drink the juice), along with onions and eggs are my favourite pickled goodness. Now off to find that jar of onions in the back of the cupboard.....

Yes. Keeps (unopeneded) gherkins jar chilled. Juices get drunk to help with hangover.

If I haven't got a jar of silver skins, pickled beetroot and pickled red cabbage in I get the shakes.

What's nice with curries.

Sliced raw onion and tomato, in warm vinegar add fresh mint and a teaspoon of sugar, stir and let cool.
Bloody lovely.

Olives are divine, as are those small bell peppers filed with feta cheese.
